Sword of Life and Death "The Giver and the Taker"

This sword was made a long time ago. A wizard name Kalgan D'Hargan constructed it with life and death spells. He then gave it to his tracker, Gandorf. Gandorf excepted the gift and his new assignment, to track down an evil cleric.

While tracking this cleric, Gandorf ran into many undead crearues of all kinds. He had many hard fought battles, but his sword was always heling him, and occasionaly would kill a undead creaure in one hit.

Now when Gandorf finally found the cleric, he was far from where his journey had started. The cleric had made his home in an abandoned temple, and all kinds of evil lurked about it. The temple was surrounded by a moat of blood and bones, most likely from sacrafices to please his evil god.

Gandorf walked around the temple, studying it very closely, looking for someway in or around it's defences. After many days he finally figured out how he would get in. He decided to build a tiny bridge, concealing it with what little magical power he had. After 2 weeks of constructing this bridge, he wallked across. As soon as he made it he was swarmed by at least 100 or more undead creatures. The battle lasted a long time but Gandorf somehow managed to survive, probably because of the healing powers Kalgan D'Hargan had put into it. After taking a rest and healing himself a little, he went off to find the cleric. He found him in the highest tower of the temple, casting many undead summoning spells. He was surrounded by the most powerful undead there were. Gandorf knew he could not defeat them all because he had already fought hard. He could kill the cleric, who was also drained of energy from casting so many spells. He then charged and started swinging his sword all around. Ke must have killed most of the undead around because the cleric started to grow tired. Gandorf then charged the cleric, killing him on the first swing. The undead around him started to drop because their summoner was now dead. Still, a few managed to get to him, and in the end he dies. Not even his sword could heal him enough.

Their are rumours of this sword being seen in the area of Amn, being weilded by another ranger, who hopefully, will have better luck then Gandorf.
